Ensuring Your Delivery

Ensuring Your Delivery: A Comprehensive Guide

When tracking your order and discovering it marked as “delivered,” but nowhere to be found, it can be an unsettling experience. However, rest assured, we’re here to assist in resolving this situation.

Numerous factors can lead to your order not yet being physically delivered despite the tracking indicating otherwise. Some common reasons include:

  • Postmasters ensuring all parcels and mail are scanned by day end, occasionally resulting in incorrect tracking updates.
  • Some carriers recalling tracking numbers every 6 months, occasionally leading to packages being incorrectly marked as “delivered.”
  • Delivery drivers not completing their rounds but the package already being scanned.

Worry not! Carriers will continue delivery attempts over the next business days even after marking packages as “delivered.” Here are the timeframes for specific carriers:

  • Domestic USPS: 7 Business days

If your order hasn’t arrived within the specified timeframe, consider the following tips to locate your package.

Double-Check Your Shipping Address

A mis-delivery can occur due to incorrect shipping address information provided during checkout. Verify your shipping address through:

  • Your order confirmation email
  • Your Silque account: Select the order in question and review the provided shipping address

If you believe your package was delivered to the wrong address:

  • Attempt to contact the residents at that location.

If your package is being returned to us:

  • Email us at support@silqueme.com with your order number or shipping name along with your correct shipping address, and we’ll send you a replacement free of charge.

Check if Someone Accepted Your Package on Your Behalf

For shipping addresses in apartment complexes or office buildings, inquire with:

  • Neighbors or co-workers
  • Mailroom or lobby attendant

Check Areas You Usually Don’t

Packages may be delivered by a different mail delivery person who might not be aware of your preferred delivery location. Check unexpected spots like other doorsteps, bushes, or covered areas. On rainy days, delivery drivers may use plastic bags to protect packages, which could make them less conspicuous.

Check if It Was Left in a Safer Location

If you weren’t home during delivery, the carrier may have placed the package out of plain sight to prevent theft. Inspect all possible delivery locations at your address, including the mailbox, porch, garage, and other areas safe from weather hazards.

Contact Your Local Post Office

Reach out to the specific post offices utilized by the responsible carrier for delivery. Ensure you contact the post office directly rather than the general customer service line. Here’s the contact information for USPS:
